Today’s delicious recipe can be found on Betty Crocker’s website here. This is a meal I typically wouldn’t even try, lots of flavors that I’m kinda finicky about, and it doesn’t look that appetizing in the photo. But on the other hand, Kris could probably live off these kinds of meals, especially anything with a mexican flavor to it.
- We added about 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of parsley and about 1 tablespoon of garlic in the first step. I thought the chicken would be bland, so we decided to add more flavor from the get go.
- Any bag of frozen veggies will work on this one, our’s included all the veggies listed, plus others. Didn’t really make a difference.
- We also put some sour cream and chives on the side of the dish. This helped balance out the meal a bit.
How was it?
AMAZING! Like I said, this meal isn’t typically my kind of food, but it had deep flavor, and was so easy to make. It also took us like 15-20 minutes to do. Which is almost unheard of.
Things We Would Change
- Kris thinks it would be easier to put on your plate if you put the cheese on after you already dished it out, but I really like it mixed it. So that one’s up to you.
