Day 17: Lemon-Pepper Steaks

Today we did Lemon-Pepper Steaks (and baked potatoes). I grilled the steaks and peppers on our gas grill (for quickness as apposed to doing it on our charcoal grill). This was a very fast meal, except for the baked potatoes, and yummy. Unfortunately, we were not very prepared today, so we ended up having to eat this meal a little cold. Let this be a lesson to you (and me) that you need to know exactly what is happening in the recipe.

Executive Decisions

How was it?

Cold, but good. This one was mine, and as you can see, I went with a blue cheese and BBQ feel.
Allison’s baked potato had sour cream, chives, cheddar cheese, margarine, salt and pepper.

Things We Would Change

  • Be better prepared, so we could have eaten this meal hot.
  • I wanted to try a different way to cook steaks, which may be implemented sometime in the future.
