Day 37: Baked Herb Chicken

Today we made an easy baked chicken with mac and cheese. Simple ingredients mixed with a simple recipe can only be a good idea when you have no time.


  • Boneless-Skinless chicken breasts
  • Margarine
  • Garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Rosemary
  • Elbow noodles
  • Velveeta cheese
  • Milk

Bake the chicken for 30 minutes in a pyrex (or oven safe dish) with the margarine and garlic in the bottom of the pan. Also sprinkle the breasts with salt, pepper and rosemary.  Half way through the time, flip the chicken. That is it.

Velveeta cheese has the recipe for a mac and cheese dish on the package. It is basically 2 cups of noodles, 1/3 cup of milk, pepper, and 12 ounces of cheese.


Executive Decisions

  • None, but there are things I would change.

How was it?

Cheesy, yummy and all-around delish! This meal took no effort, and we were tired tonight.

Things We Would Change

  • I would have added turkey bacon to the mac and cheese.
